The above terms relate to a creative, contemporary approach to the practice of Ashtanga (Vinyasa) Yoga as taught by Pattabhi Jois. This demanding style promotes physical and mental health and wellbeing, and personal and personal development.
This is accomplished through a practice combining full rhythmic breathing with fluid movements linking a wide range of challenging and powerful postures.

With this style the student learns how to do Yoga and how to create their own practice to achieve their own goals.
